This unit is a women’s only unit and is specifically for women who are either expecting their child or have recently given birth. Accommodation provided will be clean and child friendly and will be on a temp basis until permanent accommodation has been secured. Support will be provided from our in-house support workers which will include but is not limited to;

• Independent skills as needed
• Parenting support which will include getting to know your baby
• Assisting with registering both mother and baby with key agencies such as GP, health visitor, midwife etc.
• Assisting with support services such as local children’s centers and baby groups for networking and additions support
• Liaising with key professions such as midwife and/or health visitor.
• Signposting to specialist support services if needed.
